If I could have a dollar for all the articles I’ve written about gin….well, let’s just say, I’d be well set up as far as gin is concerned. But I actually don’t even have to worry about being set up because The Mill House will do it for me.

Jumping on the ol’ band wagon of love we have going on in Melbourne for all things gin, The Mill House has set up a Gin Club on Thursday nights to shine a spotlight on the favoured drop. They have partnered with some of the best craft gin distilleries – both locally and internationally – to celebrate this new gin-centric focus.

Since launching on Thursday 31 August, Gin Club has been operating bi-monthly to bring a new and exciting experience to the Melbourne nightlife scene. Kicking off with award-winning Australian gin Four Pillars, Gin Club has since gone on to partner with renowned distilleries such as Sydney’s inner-city Archie Rose, creators of the only Islay Dry Gin, The Botanist; Gin distillery, Animus (founded in a Fitzroy North garage); Victorian based craft distillery Patient Wolf; and the creators of the uniquely pink raspberry-based gin, Pinkster.

Gin Club offers gin-lovers, foodies and your average G&T enthusiast the opportunity to learn about a variety of gins, sample rare and hand-crafted releases, and experience a specially curated canapé and cocktail menu tailored to compliment the aromatics of each distillation.

If you haven’t yet beaten a path to The Mill House door, you’ll find it down Flinders Lane. With a liquor license that allows the good times to roll on well into the early morning and a huge variety on offer to eat and drink, this should be your post-dinner go. Let your hair down on the dance floor, enjoy a cheeky G&T and put these dates in your diary..

November 2: Rogue

November 16: Fords Gin

November 30: Hippocampus

The Mill House
